Fiche de dégustation

Ce que l’on goûte dans ce hojicha

Une tasse torréfiée, ronde et peu amère, proche d’un moment café mais sans acidité.

Torréfaction marquée
Douceur Naturelle
Amertume faible
Intensité Douce

Still little known in Europe, hojicha is nevertheless very popular in Japan.

Unlike matcha, it is roasted, which gives it a rounder, sweeter, and less vegetal taste.

It is often a tea that is immediately appreciated.

Another experience besides matcha

Matcha is intense, vegetal, and energizing.

Hojicha is milder, warmer, and more approachable.

It can be enjoyed at any time of day, with no bitterness.

Matcha vs Hojicha

Roasted, slightly woody notes, with a round and soothing texture.

A taste similar to coffee, but without acidity or harshness.

A drink that invites you to slow down.

A quieter moment

Hojicha is perfect for moments of respite.

In the evening, after a long day, or simply to slow down.

A gentle alternative to coffee or matcha.

Selected in Japan

Like matcha, this hojicha is sourced directly from Yame, Japan.

It upholds the same high standards of quality and selection.

Usage

Hojicha can be used:

– In hojicha lattes
– As an infusion
– In desserts

Easy to prepare, even without experience.

We only select batches that we would consume ourselves.

If you’ve never liked matcha, hojicha is an excellent alternative.

Milder, more accessible, and often a real discovery.
