Still on the fence?
Discover both.
The Duo is not just two products packed together in a box. It provides an immediate understanding of two very different expressions of Japanese Yame tea.
On one side, a smooth matcha, fresh and rich in umami. On the other, a round and roasted hojicha with notes of hazelnut and caramel. Two profiles that are easy to compare, to alternate according to your desires or to offer as a gift.
TWO PROFILES
Two very different ways to drink Japanese tea.

Yame Matcha
Sweet · umami · slightly bitter
A fresh and vegetal profile with a subtle chocolate note. Enjoy with water or as a latte, hot or iced.

Yame Hojicha
Roasted · round · indulgent
Notes of toasted hazelnut and caramel, with much less vegetal character. Ideal for lattes and pastries.
Discover HojichaHOW TO PREPARE THEM
Two products, two simple steps.

Preparing Matcha
Start with 1.5 to 2g per 60 to 80ml of 70–80°C water. Sift, then whisk. For a latte, use about 2 to 2.5g with 30 to 40ml of water before adding milk.

Prepare Hojicha
Whisk the powder into a small amount of hot water until smooth, then add hot or cold milk. Adjust according to desired strength.

Alternate as you wish
Choose matcha when you're looking for freshness and umami; hojicha when you're craving a more roasted and gourmet profile. The Duo is specifically designed so you don't have to choose definitively.
Understanding the difference
AT THE SOURCE
Yame links the two products.
Maison Yume works with a family farm in Yame, Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan. The Duo allows you to discover two very different profiles while maintaining a specific origin and a transparent sourcing relationship.
This close relationship makes traceability easier to understand and links available quality documentation to the actual references used. We prefer to explain where the teas come from and why they were chosen rather than multiplying marketing names.
BEFORE ORDERING

The Yume House Duo
It is ideal for discovering Japanese powdered teas, comparing two contrasting profiles, or as an easy-to-understand gift set.
Yame Matcha is fresh, vegetal, sweet, and rich in umami. Yame Hojicha is roasted, rounder, and develops notes of hazelnut and caramel.
Yes. Matcha works great hot or iced with milk, and hojicha is also particularly suitable for lattes thanks to its roasted profile.
Keep both sachets tightly closed, away from heat, light, air, and humidity. For professional stock, Maison Yume recommends storage between -5 and 5°C. If the products are stored very cold, allow the unopened packets to gradually return to room temperature before opening them to limit condensation.
Yes. It allows us to offer two very different profiles in the same box, even to someone who doesn't yet know both products.
