How to prepare a matcha latte

Matcha latte is one of the simplest ways to experience matcha.

Milder than a traditional preparation, it allows you to enjoy its aromas while remaining accessible. It's often the best first approach.


Ingredients

– 1 to 2g matcha
– 60 ml hot water (70–80°C)
– 150 to 200 ml milk (plant-based or regular)
– (optional) sugar or syrup


Preparation

  1. Add matcha to a bowl
  2. Pour in hot water
  3. Whisk until smooth, with no lumps
  4. Heat the milk
  5. Pour milk over the matcha
  6. Stir gently

Tips

– Do not use boiling water to avoid bitterness
– Whisk well to achieve a uniform texture
– Adjust the amount of milk according to desired intensity
