WHY YAME?
Origin is part of the taste.
Yame is located in Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan. Terroir, cultivars, shading, harvesting, and processing all influence the final profile of matcha. At Maison Yume, we prioritize clear origin, traceability, and the cup result rather than a marketing designation.

Our Yame Matcha is selected for its sweetness, umami, low bitterness, and pleasant aromatic presence. It can be enjoyed pure, prepared as a hot or iced latte, and used in baking.
PREPARATION
A few benchmarks will suffice.
Start with approximately 1.5 to 2g of matcha for 60 to 80ml of 70–80°C water. Sift, then whisk until smooth.
Use about 2 g of matcha with 30-40 ml of water, then add 150-200 ml of milk. Adjust according to cup size and desired strength.
Keep matcha tightly sealed, away from heat, light, air, and moisture. For professional stock, Maison Yume recommends storage between -5 and 5 °C.
